The Pawtucket Water Supply Board will be engaging in legal services in preparation for a Water Lien Tax Sale to be held on May 22,2024 at 10:00 am in the City of Pawtucket Council Chambers, located at 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860. In the event City Hall is unavailable, information on a new location will be provided.
ANY AND ALL PREVIOUS PAYMENT AGREEMENTS ARE NOW NULL & VOID, NO NEW AGREEMENTS WILL BE MADE.
In accordance with state law, all charges assessed by the PWSB, including all new charges, immediately become a lien upon the property. According to our records, the above balance of water charges assessed to the above plat and lot are in arrears. This balance plus interest is due and payable at this time. If this account is not paid in full by February 9,2024 a $500.00 tax sale fee will be assessed to the PWSB account for this property. By law your property will be sent to our attorney in preparation for a water lien sale. Water lien sale will include all past due and new bills that come due before the tax sale date. Advertisement of water lien sale will be published in Blackstone Valley’s Call & Times on April 30, 2024.
